Benjamin Bolongan


Benjamin is a Program Coordinator at The 519, an LGBTQ2S organization in Toronto, and a Special Projects Manager at the York University Capstone Network. With a background in urban planning, immigration & settlement, and higher education, he draws on his knowledge in these diverse fields when addressing systemic barriers and complex urban issues. Benjamin was honoured to be named a DiverseCity Fellow with the CivicAction Leadership Foundation, to receive the University of Toronto- Victoria University Alumni Emerging Leader Award, and to be nominated for a JS Woodsworth Award for Human Rights and Equity by the New Democratic Party of Ontario.
